ReplyDeleteThe Author touches on the problem of rural education system in our country and the book also suggests some ways to improve one's English. The techniques may seem too raw for the average Goodreads user or a regular reader, but in truth, they are effective.

ReplyDeleteWhile reading the book i could find a Bollywood movie all over the book and one cannot be blamed for suspecting that Chetan Bhagat wrote this particular story with a blockbuster movie in mind....Do you feel so??? :)

A nice work by chethan bhagath.. Half Girlfriend is a simple bollywood love story and nice to read..keeps the reader stick on to the book till the end... curiosity factor is well maintained through out the book..kudos to chetan :) keep going!
ReplyDeleteI read the book "Half girlfriend" recently..Sometimes the logic in the story is under question... Dont know how the affair between two extremes would impress each other... any way with out much ache on mond, we can do a simple read and book is not so bad :)

Then, my roommate mentioned this book, and I randomly found it in our community library, so I decided to give it a try. After reading a few pages, I was hooked and decided to buy it. It turned out to be one of the best purchases of my life. While reading, I felt like I was part of the story, experiencing every emotion. The book is beautifully written by Mr. Bhagat, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a purchase. Thank you, Mr. Bhagat, for turning me into a book lover.
